Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (such as browser storage) are small files stored in your browser when you visit a site. They are used to make the site work, remember your choices, and measure how the site is used.
2. Cookies we use
Essential (always on): Needed for the site to work; no consent required.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| hyppo_cookie_consent (browser storage) | Hyppo | Remembers your cookie choice | Until you delete it |
Analytics and ad measurement (only if you click "Accept"): If you don't consent, these tools are never loaded and the cookies below are never set.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors to measure site use | About 2 years |
| _fbp | Meta Pixel | Measures the results of our ads and lets us show ads on Meta platforms to people who visited the site | About 3 months |
| _fbc | Meta Pixel | Recognizes a visit that came from a Meta ad | About 3 months |
Durations may vary with the providers' own settings. The site's font is also loaded from Google Fonts; this doesn't set cookies, but it passes your IP address to Google.
3. Managing your choice
- On your first visit, choose Accept or Reject in the banner. Rejecting doesn't limit any feature of the site.
- You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent, analytics and ad cookies are deleted and the tools are no longer loaded.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
